SUMMARY:Give for Good Louisville 2021
DESCRIPTION:Please join us on September 17th for the biggest day of online giving! Give for Good Louisville is the most important fundraiser of the year for the Friends of JCPLL. Every donation given online through the Community Foundation of Louisville on that particular day gives us a chance for prizes and other incentive money. It’s a 24 hour giving frenzy! A day to support all of your local non-profits\, and we hope that the law library is one of them! The Friends group helps the law library with it’s outreach programs like our Know Your Rights seminars\, where attorneys give legal guidance in a certain area. We hope to start these up again soon\, after the COVID hiatus. The Friends group has also received two grants in the past to help Jefferson County residents obtain expungement of their record at no cost to them. The Friends of JCPLL are friends of knowledge\, access and justice! And those are things that can always use a little support.
