Andrew Reinhardt
Representing the Commonwealth’s Attorney

Judge McKay Chauvin
Representing the Jefferson Circuit Court
Judge McKay Chauvin is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the Georgetown University Law Center. He spent ten years as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Jefferson County where he was the Chief of the Capital Crimes and Special Prosecutions Units. In 1999 he joined the Office of the United States Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky as an Assistant United States Attorney as the designated Violent Crimes Coordinator. Judge Chauvin was first appointed to the Jefferson Circuit Court in 2004. He created the S.M.A.R.T. Probation program, the KYC-11 initiative, the Jefferson Courtroom Upgrade Project, and the Division 8 Little Library. He was selected by his colleagues in 2013 to serve as Chief Judge.

Hammad Khan
Representing the Louisville Metro Mayor
Hammad currently serves in dual capacities—as an Assistant Attorney General in Kentucky’s Special Prosecutions Unit and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky—where he focuses on prosecuting non-fatal gun crimes that affect communities in Jefferson County. Prior to this, he held leadership as Assistant County Attorney and Criminal Unit Chief in Jefferson County, handling a wide array of legal matters from traffic offenses to complex felony child support cases.

DeAndrea Baltimore
Representing the Jefferson County Attorney
Dee Baltimore is a graduate of Kentucky State University and the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. She currently serves as an Assistant County Attorney and Labor and Employment Section Chief in the Civil Division of the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office. She previously served as Metro Government’s Compliance and Training Administrator, and well as Deputy General Counsel to former Mayor Greg Fischer. In her current role, her and her team represent the Louisville Metro Government administration including its agencies on labor and employment matters.

David Nicholson
Jefferson County Circuit Court Clerk
The Honorable David L. Nicholson, a lifelong resident of Louisville, KY, was elected Jefferson County Circuit Court Clerk in 2006 and re-elected in 2012, 2018 and 2024. The Office of the Circuit Court Clerk is a constitutional office within the Kentucky Court of Justice, responsible for serving as the official custodian of records of the Circuit, Family and District courts. Jefferson County’s Circuit Court Clerk’s Office serves the largest jurisdiction in Kentucky’s unified court system and its only true urban court system, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
