Thanks to Neighborhood Development Funds from the Louisville Metro Council, the Friends of the JCPLL are proud to host a clinic on July 31st for expungements, free-of-charge*, for certain Class D felonies and misdemeanors.

To determine if you are eligible, please use the questions below.

If you believe you are eligible, please call the Law Library at (502)574-5943 to provide us with your legal name, date of birth, and phone number. We will confirm your eligibility and follow up with the next steps.

Have a misdemeanor? Use these questions to see if you qualify for expungement.

Are there any criminal charges currently pending against you?

Have you been convicted of any misdemeanors or felonies in the past five years?

Have five years passed since the completion of your sentence (including payment of fines and probation)?

Do you have a conviction for a sex offense or an offense against a child?

Was your offense subjected to enhancement for a second or subsequent offense?

Have a Class D Felony? Use these questions to see if you qualify for expungement.

Are there any criminal charges currently pending against you?

Have you been convicted of any misdemeanors or felonies in the past five years?

Have five years passed since the completion of your sentence (including payment of fines and probation)?

Is the Class D felony listed here?

Is the Class D felony a conviction for abuse of a public office, a sex offense, an offense against a child, or an offense that resulted in serious bodily injury or death?
